Catholic Charities’ Homeless & Refugee Resettlement Support

Support is Needed to Assist Immigrants & Refugees Transitioning to Their New Homes.

Cleveland has been identified as a key city for immigrants and refugees to find a new home. This is a great opportunity for our city and community — refugees support economic growth and promote a diverse, vibrant community.

Our team supports refugees and immigrants by providing a safe, welcoming environment for families when they arrive in Cleveland by cleaning, stocking, and preparing their new home for them. We work in partnership with Catholic Charities.

Due to the conflicts and natural disasters throughout the global — including in Afghanistan, Ukraine, Pakistan, and other areas — the timeline to aid these immigrants has gotten expedited significantly. Our partners at Catholic Charities and the May Dugan Center, is often notified that a family will be moving to the city 24-48 hours prior to their move.

As such, support is needed to assist our new neighbors in effectively and peacefully transitioning to their new homes.
