Requirements for Screening Mammography

• Women who are at least 40 years old or older

• Women who had their last screening mammography exam performed 11 months ago or later. All screening mammography exams are submitted through patient’s insurance.

• Women who are not pregnant or currently breastfeeding

• Women who can easily walk up and down stairs

• Women who are not currently having breast problems or have had a recent breast cancer diagnosis (within the past 2 years).

Preparation for your Screening Mammography appointment

• It's best to wear a two-piece outfit. This way, you can remain clothed during your screening.

• You should not wear deodorant, perfumes, lotions, or powders.

• Bring Your ID and Insurance card the day of your appt

• The Mobile Coach does not have W/C access, patients must be able to climb 5 stairs without assistance.
